Hot shot dribbling and selfies, how Steph Curry wooed China on Under Armour tour

CNBC was invited exclusively to join NBA All-Star Steph Curry on a marketing tour of China to promote Under Armour, the sportswear giant for which he is a spokesman. Our team is keeping a diary of their experiences.

Day 2- Taipei, Taiwan

11 a.m.
Hundreds of screaming fans begin lining up after word spread that Curry will be visiting a local retail store. Kids took the day off from school to see their hero.
"We've been out here for five hours," one student, who was part of big group, told us.
Curry met with local media and a select group of locals, who presented him with gifts and told him about how much they inspired him.
"This is my first time in Taipei," Curry told the crowd. "We know basketball is so popular here and we want that to continue."

3 p.m.
We traveled 40 minutes to Xinzhuang Stadium, where Curry would conduct a clinic with the top basketball players in the country. Here they showed off their impressive dribbling and ball-control skills and got the opportunity to play on the court with their real-life hero.

4 p.m.
Our final event on the Curry Asia tour. Thousands of screaming fans gathered for the rare opportunity to be up close and personal with Curry as he showcased his skills and addressed the crowds. And no visit is complete without a selfie with the entire stadium.
